Thunderbirds
1 and
2. TB2 is a large 1/144 Imai kit made from a strange dense expanded
polystyrene covered with a resin coating. TB1 is a resin UNCL kit about
1/100 scale. TB1 was scaled in the PC to TB2. The background is a photo
I took flying just east of Edinburgh, but flipped mirror image so the
sun was roughly in the right place. |
| |

Two
foot long resin Zero X from AJAMODELS (via Federation Models). Scaled
to the Imai 1/350 scale Thunderbird 2. I installed magnets to allow
for separation of the MEV and Lifting Bodies. |
| |

AB
resin Hawk from Space:1999. Quoted as 1/48 scale, it is nearer 1/39,
although I did use 1/48 pilot figures. The kit required a great deal of
modification. In this instance I also had to cheat a bit as the orange
turned out the wrong shade and was altered within Photoshop.

Reshape resin SHADO
Lunar Carrier and Lunar Module. Probably 1/144 scale. |
| |

"Thunderbirds are Go!". The version shown here was the MEV seen in the
opening episode of Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons.
The landscape is another Terragen image. |

built the third and the ramp. |
| |

Reshape resin1/144

The
Spectrum Hovercraft was only seen in one episode of Captain Scarlet
(The Traitor). The hovercraft was envisioned to be operated by Spectrum
in the world's wilderness regions.
This is a resin kit by UNCL and is approx. 1/48 scale. I deliberately
did not apply the Koala Base decal as I wished to photograph the model
in settings other than that of the Australian Outback as featured in
the episode. |

built the third and the ramp. |

AJAMODELS ZERO X.
The background was rendered in Terragen. I decided to dupicate
the look of the film rather than make Mars red as we know it today.
