approaching the Moon from the nightside with sunrise at the limb.
This
was one of the first special effects photos Jeff Hosea and I took
in 1971/72. The background was made with kitchen foil painted black,
with pinpricks for stars and a cutout crescent to depict the Sun. A
photoflood was placed behind the foil and it was then double exposed
with the models.
